*Today in this lesson, I'll discus one important quality of a VESSEL...
#VESSELS are MADE: They Don't BECOME #
Jeremiah 18:3-4 says "...there he was, MAKING SOMETHING on the wheel..."
On the wheel, NOTHING is MADE into SOMETHING.
According to Isaiah 64:8 "...we are the CLAY and you are the POTTER and we are the WORKS of your HAND".
Hence, it is very practical to put ourselves in context to this scripture.
*To be "MADE" creates the consciousness of dependence to a source.
To "BECOME" on the other hand creates the tendency of independence. The position of self effort.
*It is critical to recognize that a vessel has it's original form as CLAY. Formless, unappealing and trampled on.
*Clay gets into FORM/SHAPE ONLY when it has been contacted by the HAND OF A POTTER on the WHEEL.
*Note this, Shape/Form is what gives ATTENTION and ATTRACTION to clay.
-Attraction and attention is what whips up INTEREST
- INTEREST is what Propels DEMAND.
-DEMAND is what drives VALUE ADDITION.
-Value addition is a PRICE DETERMINANT.
All these stages of a vessels transformation is the singular effort of the Potter.
Nevertheless it is unfortunate how sometimes our actions and inaction as worshippers suggest that we "BECOME" other than "MADE".
Whatever we have become for which reason we are tempted to feel self sufficient, THE POTTER'S TOUCH is responsible. The only single guarantee of uniqueness.
Let's not be deceived. It is a release from a source. It's called the POTTER'S HAND. It is the reason we are so called "MAKING WAVES". We better Start acknowledging that for our own interest before the POTTER gets His Hand off the WHEEL.
It's not LATE. We can stop saying "tomorrow I will show them how much I can sing to bring the anointing..." and start saying " tomorrow God will grant Grace to glorify Him at the program..."
*It is When we start acknowledging that we can enjoy Jeremiah 18:4 "...and the vessel the POTTER made was marred in the HAND OF THE POTTER and HE MADE IT AGAIN ANOTHER VESSEL...
You are indestructible in the hand of the POTTER. He can MAKE US AGAIN. It's not late. Make him your source. You are just clay. Always remember THIS.
*SAY THIS AFTER ME..."LORD! I am the clay, you are the POTTER. if I live, I live for you Amen!".
