VESSEL, TREASURE & HONOR #2
*Today in this lesson, I'll discus one important quality of a VESSEL... #VESSELS are MADE: They Don't BECOME # Jeremiah 18:3-4 says "...there he was, MAKING SOMETHING on the wheel..." On the wheel, NOTHING is MADE into SOMETHING. According to Isaiah 64:8 "...we are the CLAY and you are the POTTER and we are the WORKS of your HAND". Hence, it is very practical to put ourselves in context to this scripture. *To be "MADE" creates the consciousness of dependence to a source. To "BECOME" on the other hand creates the tendency of independence. The position of self effort. *It is critical to recognize that a vessel has it's original form as CLAY. Formless, unappealing and trampled on. *Clay gets into FORM/SHAPE ONLY when it has been contacted by the HAND OF A POTTER on the WHEEL. *Note this, Shape/Form is what gives ATTENTION and ATTRACTION to clay. -Attraction and attention is what whips up INTEREST - INTEREST is what P
